Ian Overmire- Club secretary

Hello! 

I'm Ian, a 51 year old father of 3 girls. I've only been keeping reptiles for 7 years so am far from an expert but this hobby and my animals are something that give me immense pleasure. I have 15 snakes, 1 leopard gecko and 1 frog and my interest in these wonderful animals was very much sparked by my 11yr old daughter Izzy, who is the reason we joined the club!

I have been in the NWRC for 4 years now and this will be my 3rd term as secretary, a role that I am so passionate about and am really proud of the journey we have taken the club on in the last 2 years. I probably spend far too much time doing stuff to further develop the club (probably why I'm still single haha) and love learning about and using technology, as you can probably tell by the club app I am trying to develop and the silly AI pictures in our bio. 

I also have my own website (www.reptilefacts.co.uk) where you can find all the information about my animals that come to meetings/events and this info is also available to the public by scanning QR codes that are on my tubs at the events.
